The dialogue probably hampered the narrator’s options. The concepts of the series kept me until the chapter called The Four. So poorly written it was making me sick. I could not take it anymore. Why did I waste my credits on this drivel?

I have bought the book for three different people who have finished the series already and they have bought the book for other people as well. Just give it a chance.
I haven’t laughed this much at a book in a long time. Bought the next book only partway through this one.
Book 1 is a bit rough. Immersion breaking at times. By book 3, the writing, world building and characters have improved a lot. I would give book 1 a 1.5 star review, a bit disappointed that I bought it. Book 2 moves up to a 2.5 star, not disappointed but pick it up on sale..
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Would absolutely risk humanity’s extinction again for Carl and Princess Donut. Absolute chaos. Loved every bloody second.
I’ve been seeing lots of hype for this title the last few years. It did not disappoint. I’m not as acquainted with some of the games and such it’s styled after but I still thoroughly enjoyed it and will be picking up the next title ASAP! GLURP GLURP!
Another fantastic entry into the series, I’m absolutely hooked and have been binging it for the last 2 weeks.
I truly enjoy the series. All the more reason that during the death and everything that happened in between it brought tears to my eyes. It is really excruciating to see a character like that to go down while getting up more powerful while the devotion of the familiars intensify
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, but sadly it has turned into nothing more than the characters constantly mocking each other. Chester and Jeff Hays rock, though it is not enough for me to continue with this series.
