As a Catholic, I always hope for a well written Catholic novel. This is an awesome story- not wishy washy but hard hitting, characters are flawed, even unlikeable at times but capable of redemption.
This is one of the best audiobooks ive ever listened to. Amazing story and Jeff Hays brings all of the characters to life with his fantastic narration! I fully thought it was a full cast, hes just that good.

the story, concepts, humor, writing, characters, performances were all amazing. please finish another 10 to 15 books please
Besides the kid being frustrating, it wasn’t a bad book. I’m probably not going to red book 2 as there is no interest. The performance by Soundbooth is always top tier.

This is only the second LitRPG I’ve tried. I was skeptical and had very low expectations but I enjoyed the book. The reviews were so good and a friend recommended this series so I tried it. The story was creative and moved right along. Parts are ridiculous; I didn’t laugh, but they seemed so in..
World building is kicking off. Characters and conflicts and plotting. Way more interesting than endless fighting. There’s still a little grinding, but it doesn’t feel tedious anymore.
I don’t understand the progression of the story why fight for a Forge when you can go and restart and make it better forge elsewhere I don’t get the point of this whole story. I am very confused.
