It’s a good book. I found myself laughing. Harold tells some funny word play and puns.

Carl and Donut are spectacular. The writer is brilliant and the narrator is one of my very favorites. if you don’t love the action packed, ridiculously hilarious group of misfits you obviously don’t appreciate ridiculous, crude, and complely whacked humor and need to be put out of your misery.
I enjoyed everything about the book. Good plot, narration, balanced time spent on LitRPG stats, and diverse characters.
There is character pay off, deep plot, and stellar world building in the series. Dont write it off cause the first third takes time to warm you up. If you do buy, do yourself a favor and stay until the end to make up your mind on continuing.
None of the writing stood out above OK outside some aspects of world building. Annie is top VO talent. I love most of the character voices except the main character, reminds me of kronk from emperors new groove
