Finally an entertaining parody/tribute to all things AD&D, the Hunt, and TTRPG!!! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK HIGHLY ENOUGH. yes I know, all caps.

each book is bigger and better in pretty much every way. I don’t understand it, but I love it.

amazing story, suspense, sarcasm, self deprecating humor at it’s finest. AWESOME narrator, characters that you will love, this series and this particular title are top notch.

Great narration and storythat will have you laughing and crying and thinking. Enough said no spoilers 🙂

Such a fun book if you’re into RPGs and cuktural references. I laughed out loud multiple times. The relationship between Carl and everyone he interacts with is fantastic. I will kill for the Princess.

Imagine a soldier being randomly left alive after an apocalyptic alien world. It’s funny, he’s logical, I love his cat. Read it!

3.5 stars. There were some weird opinions Carl had on how people look in the first half. So as a character I didn’t find him likable. But he got less annoying as the book went on.

Such a great voice actor- the narrator made this a really funny and engaging read!
