It makes you wonder, if you steal the best parts of a hundred different things, and put them together in a charming fashion, would that be so wrong? It turns out, it just feels right.
I love the story! The fact that Alexander’s father is willing to move heaven and earth to save him. I have read and listened to this book several times. I still am emotionally moved. This, along with Battleborn, very quickly became my comfort titles.
The characters are well done and the story really has no slow or boring parts, so be prepared for marathon listening. If you are one of those people who need to sleep or do a job where you can’t listen to a book it’ll be super irritating. Seriously though, the author just hit all the..

Such a great adventure! I’m four books in on the series. I just can’t get enough.
The books kept me engaged but there are a lot of details that don’t make much sense and gloss over the extreme difficulty
