The writing is impeccable and engaging, with constant action and humor. Jeff Hayes is an astounding narrator and I wouldn’t listen to anyone else doing Dungeon Crawler Carl. I am now obsessed with his, and Matt Dinniman’s, entire catalogs! Hours spent, zero regrets.

Everything about this book, the narration of it, the writing of it, the flow of the actual story the ark of the characters the build up the action scenes the comedy lands and it’s not oversaturated and it’s just an amazing book. We return to our favorite royal court in book 2 and it does not disappoint. We start learning more about this new world/universe. The characters stay true to themselves in the way that we love.
