I enjoyed the vast majority of the story, with a minor complaint about the side-story of the demon. However, side-stories can be both positive or negative; for instance, I love each of the Tolly segments at the beginning of some of the chapters – quite amusing and giving us a look into life in Renewal.

I have not read a fiction book this good in a long, long time. It’s funny, witty, the story is amazing, and it manages to constantly keep you on your toes. If you’re looking for a fun read, this is the book for you!!!

This whole series is awesome! Usually by the time you get above book 5 in a series it starts to get boring or it just gets weird. I am still hooked on book 7 just like I was on book 1! Can’t wait for book 8
Continues the current arc and adds some new characters to the mix. No sign of stalling out.

It’s already 7th book and it is pretty much same gore and humor. Twists are interesting. Will wait for the next book still 🙂

I LOVED the humor, storytelling, fantasy and cynicism. The story did not disappoint and I’m eagerly looking forward to listening to the rest of the series!
If you haven’t read these books you need to. I recommend the audio version because of the characters voices. Every one of these books has had me laughing out loud.
