while it may have started a little slow, by the end of the third book, I was completely enamored with the characters and the story.

I heard that this was a a really funny book so I decided to take a chance on it. I am happy that I did! Everything from the plot, characters, and narration is so hilarious and entertaining that I am probably going to have to binge the entire series!

this entry is one of my favorites so far! the humor was at a higher standard than the previous books, you had more insight into how the game was run and it enraptured the listener throughout the whole book.

the mix of voices are probably my favorite about these books. and I like the character development of chester and damian

I can’t get enough of dungeon crawler carl. the books are like one long d*d game mixed with a video game.

this is easily top 5 favorite series. i am not at all a fan of the whole “the book is a video game” genre, but i do love matt dinniman’s writing and humor. i went and got what little else there is on audible by him and everything is great. the narrator for this series..

I have completely enjoyed each book. Fun story with old pop culture references. I love it.

A solid continuation of the story from the first book. Definitely a decrease in the pacing from the first title, but overall kept the interest going. Not quite at the point where I was cursing that the narrative could have been fit into less books, but headed that way.

It really drew me in and the voice of the mimic had to be the best part lol
