It’s killing me that the narrator makes the soul weapon sound like Cookie Monster. It’s a terrible choice and should not have been approved. It’s a poor choice and detracts massively from the quality of the book.

The story is gratuitous violence for the sake of just that I kept going because I assumed something would go somewhere or anything. There is no point beyond a story from an interesting new perspective.

This book was overfilled with unnecessary explanations, character thoughts, underwhelming side stories and minutia in general.
