I finished this in about 3 days. A nice, slightly different spin for LitRPG with plenty of entertaining characters, tight writing, and some good laughs along the way. Extremely well thought out. The minute after you think someone is entirely OP, they’re generally getting their ass handed to them in a clever way.
Hubby and I listened to this audiobook on a road trip to Michigan. Our marriage had been in trouble for a while and was almost over, but this book brought us back together and renewed our interest in life.
Another great story in the DCC line. The narration is amazing – definitely in the top 3 of all narrations I’ve listened to.

The book was fun and the guy who reads it is amazing. You probably will need to listen twice, and that’s the best part.
This book is great, and just an incredible introduction to the universe we are thrown into. The narration and voices done by just one person is so engaging that I was legitimately stunned when the book ended. Cannot wait to get into the rest of the series
The basic story line is fairly predictable but the humor and characters make the journey worthwhile. I laughed so much that I couldn’t wait for more. The narration is very convincing and goes well with the story. I wish it was an animated series.

it’s a hysterical, bloody, creative, cat fueled romp. it’s better than a hang nail and twice as splody as a bag full of cats. I love this book.

This is the best of the books. A lot of building issues payoff in this book. Beatrice’s arc is resolved – abruptly but finalized. A lot of characters reach, in my opinion, their apogee. Get ready for the napkins because you’ll feel the tears well up in this finale. And the rock and roll ending..
