God Damn it Donut!
Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
So much irrevetent dungeon fun. Great pacing and characters. Not to be missed. Princess Donut did the win!
This is such a good series. The story is always taking you off guard and things come out of left field while still making sense. Carl and Donut’s characters develop surprisingly well while keeping to the heart of themselves and Katia quickly became a loveable character. I would have given it 5 stars if not..
Don’t understand video games? Me neither and I had a freaking BLAST! Princess Donut is just the right amount of sass for Carl to handle. The journey has been action packed and fun, can’t wait to read more!
I would say for me this was more of a 3.5, but not a three. Until towards the end I wasn’t planning on continuing, and I’ll still probably wait for a sale.
Smart and funny with some great buddy moments amongst unlikely companions. If you prefer progressive fantasy that doesn’t take itself too seriously, check this one out, you won’t be disappointed.
sounds like Dean Winchester from Supernatural and Krunk from Emporers new groove had a child and this guy was him.
Dinniman writes an Awesome story & the readers give a wonderful performance- all around high quality entertainment, definitely worth the read.
This was the first game-centered book I encountered (quite different from Neuromancer or Ready Player One) and the structure of character stats was initially distracting for me. But the persistent humor, snark and amazing world building won me over. Now one of my favorite series.
