Interesting Storyline and great narration doesn’t quite make the grade due to characters that are hard to empathize with and a protagonist fixating on every female character he meets. I listened to the trilogy set and will probably get the next set once it comes out.

Gave it a fair shot. Around 5-6 hours. But the stats don’t mean anything, the story is forced, there is pointless banter constantly, and the MC b****** constantly. Wouldn’t recommend.

The book was a great classic adventure with plenty of pop-culture wit woven into this tale. Solid characters with tangible growth, plenty of intrigue, tied altogether at the end with ample room for another installment. Looking forward to the next one!
