This has been the best damn book I have ever listened to. Story was brilliant and narration was a “chef’s kiss” beautiful.
The ongoing story is amazing. Love the character development and the story really feels like it has stakes. It’s a more emotional running man
I love the narrator his depth is amazing and he is able to perfectly keep many characters together and distinct
What a rollercoaster. Literally! As we follow Carl, Donut, and Katia onto the 4th floor, things get seriously bumpy. Matt Dinniman takes us for a ride on the Iron Tangle throwing us for several loops and turning up the drama to a 10. With the suspense and ever changing rules of the dungeon adding tension..
If you’ve ever played any video games, like snarky humor, or enjoy a witty (and slightly absurd) journey – this book is for you. I have enjoyed every bit of this audio book.
Jeff Hays did an AMAZING job bringing the mimic to life. I found myself replaying scenes over and over because I loved how the mimic speaks. Not just the voices, but the way they’re used. The way Jeff emotes his character brings the story to life, and I can visualize those scenes because of it.
Legitimate 5/5⭐️ This book absolutely blew me away. I thought book 3 couldn’t be topped, especially after the dip in book 4, but Dinniman went to a whole new level with this one. The plot, the action from the very beginning, the pacing, the characters… everything hit hard on so many levels. I had goosebumps..
