It looks like I’m the only person on earth who didn’t enjoy this, but the action was hard to follow, the main character’s voice was beyond cringey, the whole ‘video game’ plot setup was… not for me, and I’m a huge gamer. I won’t be reading the rest of the books.
I loved the character development and the many different voices that were performed by very accomplished orators. the only suggestion I would have is make sure that certain characters aren’t way louder than others (Rock!) for example. way to go guys! that was a fantastic book and I look forward to listening to the next..
If you’re needing a good palette cleanser, Carl and Donut is the way to go. These books will have a laughing out loud. I’ve really been enjoying this series.
Never have I ever experienced a Litrpg this good. Would recommend to anyone even remotely interested in rog games.
