Debated whether or not to buy this installment. The winnowing of the cast is antithetical to my usual taste in community building stories. And some cast gets wiped out but they’re trying their best which helps. And Princess Donut goes Full Dance/Pageant Mom on Mongo which is delightful. Glad I got it. Worldbuilding: dystopian galactic..

So….The description in Audible doesn’t really describe the book very well because it turns out the story is about an overpowered mimic that is stupidly smart, ridiculously lucky, that (of course) does everything right, enjoys very graphically eating people/things and is perpetually protected by plot armor….with some succubus sex and harem fantasy thrown in to..

Not much I can say about this book that I haven’t already said about the other 6. It is just a magnificent and well written series. Narrators do an outstanding job and are a perfect fit for this series.
