Very fun litRPG and just as good of a performance from the narrator. This book, and the following, are full of ridiculous scenarios that are written so well that they don’t seem so ridiculous. You can feel for a talking cat, laugh at weird AI achievements, and forget that Carl doesn’t have pants on.
I love this story line it’s a bit of an acid trip and you have to listen to to catch it all but it is a roller coaster. It gets sad, crazy, nonsensical, funny, sad again, upsetting and just crazy. the last one was a bit better but this one is 🤌.
Loved everything. The characters. The story. The voice acting. I’m definitely hooked on this series. I don’t listen to much but I’m going to finish this series!
My friend had been recommending this book to me. as someone you mean the book reading, I didn’t think for the comedy plant to see would be my thing, but I love this book and I cannot wait to read the rest. It is hilarious and engaging and the narrator is amazing

DCC is my first foray into LitRPG and I have been binging these audio books noon stop. the story line is great and the fun just doesn’t stop. really can’t wait to start the next book
