I didn’t know what lit rpg was and now I wish I still didn’t know. It is exactly what the genre said it is. A narration of the original kings quest. You just don’t have to put the work in. And I suggest you don’t put the work into listening either.

I was looking for something after the Bobiverse series and found this suggested in a forum. I didn’t think anything could top the Bobiverse but this may have done it. goddamnit donut.
The book was really good and entertaining. The voice acting was also incredible. The only thing that keeps me from whole heartedly endorsing this book to everyone I know is some of the content is a little sordid. To be clear, I’m getting the next book regardless.
So the content warning in the description doesn’t really cover how problematic this book and this series is. This touches on CNC, BDSM, and later on in the series — straight-up rape.
