I was recommended this book by my brother. Despite the hokey silly sounding name, I downloaded it and started it. I was immediately hooked and loved it. I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s and this RPG video game style book resonated with me immediately. And the guy reading it and doing the voices..
Best of the series I thought so far. I think Dinniman this book really started letting his humor come thru much better and the performance of Hays was award worth for sure this book (not that it wasn’t previously but it really shined this book). No spoilers but I was wiping tears out of my..
I loved the story and concept and the characters, however the author could have used about 50% of the cussing and it would have been just fine. It is almost like Neven Iliev doesn’t know how to not cuss which is a shame, as you can say a lot more with non-swear words. All that..
More, more, more!! So good, I just want the whole series out. Each book reveals more about Finch’s past while keeping the reader/listener interested in the current adventure. I can’t wait for the next one and all Shami has to offer!
Matt Dinniman has another wonderful hit in the saga of Carl and donut. It’s finally their turn to strike back.
Decent story, but I have to point out the easy pickings. Uzi Jesus, because there will be no backlash. Where is Mo-ham-mad? Safely irreverent in the most worldly way.
