about 5 chapters is what it takes for you to become invested. It’s a solid read and not filled with anything to tropey except the hero’s and villians stuff it picks fun of. I give this book a must read for fans of gradual progression.

My only issue is the romance, a bit too much time enforcing the couples love upon me… I get it, she’s a good woman, move on to the Crafting, fighting and world issues, excellent performance from the audio team.
I adore Jeff Hayes. He’s amazing as the mimic. The other narrators are really good as well. But damn if the writing isn’t too hamfisted to live. Dialogue that no living person would utter. The incredible world building blows my mind! The narrator is just incredible! The writing is an absolute masterpiece.
