The book is funny, I can tell the story has room to grow, I love the characters, and for DnD fans the setting hits just right! I’m going to start the next book immediately.

Everything about this is exciting fun and everything that I want nostalgic with video game and move your references comedy and a diverse cast from one person doing all the voices it’s amazing

The premise sounded so dumb that I kept skipping over this each time it came up in my recommendations but this ended up being one of the better books I’ve read (listened to); now I’m eager to continue this series.

For the first 2/3 of the book, I was hopeful that the main character, Orin, was intentionally written to be unlikeable so that he’d have the opportunity to grow in compassion and affability.
