I recently picked up this series a week and half ago. I just finished book 6. I cannot stop. I describe it as Kronk reading you a book and the PATRICK WARBURTON HIMSELF SHOWS UP TO NARRATE A SIDE CHARACTER. If you love chaos then read (listen?) to these.

I really enjoyed the whole series so far and I’m happy to say that this book finally is revealing more of the larger story of what’s happening with all the corporations and the government. I’m enjoying the story so much but I kind of wish it was condensed to four books instead of seven, but..
The emotional roller coaster with all the crawlers is just so beautiful and intense. I have never laughed and cried so hard as I did in this book. Dungeon Crawler Carl is just so strange a premise I still can’t explain that I love it. Normally not my type of thing.

A bit of a slow starter for me, not that I disliked the “Jerome” story arc. More of that it took me longer than expected to understand what was happening in the first few chapters. I even re-read the first book in preparation for sequel.exe, but after that more of quirky and humorous story of..
Where this book builds upon the world and experience that is dungeon crawler Carl. I find some of the exposition can be a bit taxing. But it definitely compensates by giving some very good payoff when it comes to story arch endings.

One of the best series I’ve read in awhile. The writing is great and the voice acting is amazing!! Lots of fun, very humorous yet still has depth.
