Every other sentence is a swear word or using the Lord’s name in vain (gd, jc). A shame because the story was very creative and had potential. I simply cannot listen to this book for this reason alone, also a lot of weird pervy stuff. Christians stay away!

What a surprise! This was a really good listen. I enjoyed the progression of ash and his hammer. Lots of great battles.
This series would be fantastic if it were not for the pointless, violent and demeaning sex scenes. It seems the author hates women…Otherwise it’s humorous and has a great storyline. The narration is amazing from start to finish!!

A well-performed, well-written book. Great listen! Don’t be worried about it being “videogamey”. I never play video games and I loved this book!
This story is getting intense. The tone is getting more serious as the stakes get higher. We’re beginning to see beyond the game borders to the broader galactic polis. The tension and suspense is building – like the eye of a hurricane.
