Second time listening through, I love the characters and the people over at SBT they really bring everything to life
If Matt does one thing well it’s juggling so many story threads and managing to connect them together at the perfect time. DCC is a solid favorite of mine and I look forward to the day Carl finally conquers the Dungeon.
DCC is a top of the charts LitRPG style book. The humor is immaculate and the story is riveting. If i could give this series a 10* review i promise you i would! Don’t be like me and sleep on the series, get started right now!

New to audiobooks thanks to Jeff Hayes’s role in other series. Probably been through three dozen different books now and this is the first one I’ve had to drop The main character is very slow to advance and the first third of the book is a “wallow to get better” arc that just doesn’t hit…

My favorite part was the hammer that sounds like a mix between the Cookie Monster and Yoda.
This is amazingly funny and astoundingly good. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys 👥 Fantasy with some comedy mixed in, reminiscent of Piers Anthony or Robert Lynn Asprin.

While I think the voice actor does a great job with emotion, I recommend people listen at 1.7 speed. I think that makes it easier to pay attention.
