Too long of a time frame in story, and I think he knew it? Or at least learned it the hard way he disappeared for 5 days and still finished early? Carl is a badass but without the clock counting down it loses some of the anxiety. But it also doesn’t always need to end..

This was the funniest audiobook I’ve ever listened to, the different voices was even better

Epic ending and was a thrill to listen too. The best book in the series so far IMO
