I had every expectation I’d complete this book and move on. I did not expect to finish it and immediately want more. The best thing I’ve read, hands down.
First, 3 books for 1 credit!? Already an amazing deal. Secondly, these books are fun. They have well placed comedy, fast paced action, and heaps of interesting world building. All of that together will keep you coming back for more.
Multiple friends told me about this was hesitant at 1st, immediately loved it, story entertaining (syfy meets video games). Reader is excellent
Only issue.. I wanted to hear what they would call him. I don’t have a favorite character but man i didn’t want it to end..
I bought this book because Jeff Hayes and Sound Booth Theatre were used for narration. I’m very disappointed in the narration and I think it harmed this book. Jeff’s southern accent for the MC that switches to another voice when the MC is talking was so distracting and annoying. I don’t know if that alone..
So hard to get past the robotic monotone of this narrator, who was the voice of Raul the Crab (eye of the bedlam bride, dungeon crawler carl). Jeff Hays makes a few small appearances, and is incredible as always.
