I have all the DCC books, but this is straight up garbage. Waste a credit at your own risk

My best friend told me about this series and I am hooked. So much awesome chaos. I can’t wait to listen to more!
This was a really good book. This is also, a great standalone book. The plot was clear and free will stated, yet nuanced. Matt is amazing at getting you to care about things that you never dreamed would be important.I’m not certain that the people who really need to hear the message of the book will..
hilarious and holds conceptual depth. good stuff, wished some of the writing had more variety in terms used.
I know I lot of people love this book, but I’m not one of them. I don’t need a book that emulates the feeling of a D&D Campaign, I’d rather just play D&D.
The narration was fantastic! Not my usual genre, but this twisted and clever story was interesting and funny. And it has a cat, so there’s that.
Cool concept. With how gamers, corporations, and governments are, I can see this being a possible future.
The story boils down to a poorly merged Venom and SAO with bad pacing and character development. The dialog is rigid and awkward, almost as if this is high school fanfic. Most of the voice acting was serviceable but some of the voice were truly horrendous. I really expected slightly more from them.
Combine this author with this narrator? You get utter perfection. This book was chaotic, stressful, heart wrenching, heart warming, and basically every other possible emotion at once. Can’t wait for book 8!
If you love Dungeon Crawler Carl, you will most likely enjoy this book, too. There are plenty of epic battles and humor, and yet under it all are many truths and parables about humanity. it is both heartless and sensitive. I hope people who enjoy reading it understand the subtleties; see how harmless people become..
