This was an amazing book to read and listen to, I loved it and all others so far in this series and can’t wait to listen to the next one.
Another great installment in the DCC series. The character development doesn’t disappoint and you start to get real satisfaction from the “stick it to the man” attitude and actions of Carl.
Incredibly tired and overdone premise, lazy exposition, laughably bad writing. Even the narrator had nothing original to offer as evidenced by his entirely unexplained impression of Patrick Warburton’s Cronk character for 13 hours straight.
The story is great with twists and turns the entire time and depth added with each book. The narration is top notch and alone makes the book enjoyable.
I had no idea that I needed this book in my life. A fun, unpredictable ride. Princess Donut and Carl are the apocalypse dream team.
Growth on the edge of civilization with the help of family. And a shit talking hammer. A good story of humanity’s good and bad sides when faced with the monster apocalypse. SBT kills it again with their multi person cast and awesome editing breathing the life into the story that drags you in and keeps..
Matt Dinniman, you will not break me. Jeff Hays, you will not break me. These stories are incredible. The heart, the dedicated.. humanity of Carl. Just one man trying to survive with possibly the only person he’s loved, Princess Donut. You will not break me. But I will keep going.
Rocks pitch is too loud, the stat’s is too quiet. you cant find a happy medium between the audio sound. Rock is consistently copy paste and has too much presence in the storyline.
The audio is a little rough in this book but I heard it gets better. Aside from that, fun story, fun characters, all at a good pace that keeps you wanting to listen.
