I am so deep into the DCC universe and I love it. Jeff Hayes could read the alphabet and I would listen.

what a fantastic trilogy, some series go on too long and their quality deteriorates. Not the case for this series though, I enjoyed all 3 books and a very satisfying conclusion.

Carl’s story continues, and it is still outstanding! Donut and Carl are perfect sides of a coin, so different, but impossible to separate. The characters are richly developed, action is engaging, and the story is enthralling. I will continue to look forward to the next book in this series.

I was worried the story quality would suffer because I thought Matt Dinniman kind of painted himself into a corner. I was expecting this to be not as good as the first couple books and felt there were too many different details that would end up being ignored in order to keep the story moving..
