If you liked the first book, you’re going to love this one. This second book got my son hooked, and we started books one together. His first time through, my second. We just finished this book together. We both love the series.

I haven’t read or listened to many books in a long time. This series changed that for me. After the first couple chapters, I was absolutely hooked. I love this series. Fantasy, adventure, explosions, achievements… This series has it all. Book one is a gateway drug!
In short I couldn’t put it away and ended up listening the whole audiobook in two sessions of 15h + 8h. Really great fantasy with solid LitRPG elements that don’t overwhelm as they sometimes can do – there’s no 5 minute stat sections. Story itself is wonderful, very well rounded and it’s about much more..
Just amazing. Keeps you on your toes and wanting to just continuing listening. Absolutely great

Oh my gosh, I devoured this book! Highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a great narrator who is able to do tons of voices! Quickly becoming one of my top 3 audiobooks!

Love how they kept the Limpet in the spot light by her having to do everything to grow stronger and grow as a character. The voice acting was good. I lived the interactions between the main characters that made it feel more personable.
