The first in this series was one of my favorite books of the year. This follow up was a very strong continuation of the story. This book is very different from the first one, naturally since Elise have evolved and now face different challenges. While not as impactful as the first one, this still held..
The story is getting more interesting and the narration is top tier as usual.

My only complaint is that at this time, book 3 is not out. I love this series.
The (what i assume is) last book in the series and what an end for sure. Twists and turn i couldn’t see until they were right next to me. I know I would have loved a quick recap chapter but other than that it was great. JTJ and the rest of the crew was amazing..

I enjoy the storyline and vivid colorful details. The fact that they are starting to pull together to survive. The different plot twists definitely keep you engaged.
Funny, snarky and delightful! Just like all of the other books in this series. If you need something that doesn’t hurt your brain, but is very entertaining, this is your book. Not for children.
Fu*kin Hilarious and intense! Great series and Hayes is awesome! Non stop action, explosions and gore.
