This series has no right beings as good as it is. And Jeff hays is one of the best narrators I’ve ever heard

Loved the book. Moving to the next one in the series. The audio effects are great as well

It was truly meant to be to have these two come together. Matt creates amazing characters and Jeff brings them to life with his voices.

Already a very entertaining story, the voice actor brought it to the next level and made the book a fantastically immersive experienceWill definitely be following Carl and Donut’s story into book 2“God damn it, Donut!”

Series really gets good in this one. The last third of this book is the most fun ride in audio land

Starts of a bit slow, with lots of yelling! But the slow building of the world really grows on you, and the characters feel like old friends by the end. It’s a really fun litRPG. I LOVE the concept of a BARD thrust into the role of an Unexpected Hero!

I cannot get over how wonderful this narrator is. I’m amazed at how many times I forget this is just ONE person doing all this!

This book was such a fun read from the first chapter and the performance was phenomenal.

As usual the story is amazing especially when read by this amazing narrator. Couldn’t recommend this series as a whole enough.

This is the second book in the series and it enhanced the story and raises the stakes like all good series do. Looking forward to the next one.
