First time writing a review, had to for this one. I ignored this series for so long because of the shovelware looking cover. But let me stress, DO NOT SKIP THIS ONE. It is essential for anyone who loves rpgs, fantasy, or just plain funny narratives.

Delightfully silly and entertaining. You will most certainly continue the series. The characters are weird and engaging and it’s really exciting to see them leveling up.

Over all, this series was a great listen, but by boom three there is *multiple* depictions of teenagers completely naked, and while it thankfully doesn’t go into too much detail, there’s enough that sets off my ick factor. Hopefully the writer stops this kind of content by book four, but I feel it needed to..

This one has so much more going on, it kept me entertained throughout. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

I love the chaos of these books and Jeff Hays makes it that much better.
