not up to the standard or expectation for the author. There are gonna be upset and downs throughout a story. unfortunately this book seemed like one of those valleys along the entire story arc. Everything felt rushed ND not well flished out, so much so I lost interest numerous times.

I think I will name my next cat Donut just so I can say ‘Goddammit Donut! On a more regular basis. Jeff Hays is amazing as always. And Matt’s story of Carl and Donut continues without growing stale. Adult language

An interesting fantasy western. A man who lives by a code to not kill unless it is necessary. He went through a great adventure protecting those who hired him, and in the end who he really is was revealed.

Just an amazing series can’t wait for the next one! lol when is it out?
