Not usually my genre but it was so well written and performed it became an obsession!
What a fun listen!
Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
the stakes have only gotten higher. The best in the series so far. I’m jumping right into the next book
I love everything about this series. Well, almost everything. The only thing that isn’t my favorite is the parts with the legion. They are a bit boring, but that is their whole thing, I get it. But Anthony and his family are great, and the rest of the characters. And I love Jeff Hayes narrating,..
Toward the end Carl goes on monologues that weren’t great in my opinion. Also what led up to the end was too touchy feely at times making me cringe. Too many “Carl laughed” getting spammed. With that out of the way the rest was ok with some great character building for the some side characters…
Review from The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook →
Loved all of it, and was so excited to learn what the cookbook was really about. And, regardless of this being the latest book or if you’re caught up, you are still holding your breath listening to whatever insane scenario everyone has been caught up in and if everyone is going to make it out..
I couldn’t stop laughing! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! I LOVE HOW SWEET CARL IS…I can’t wait to read the next one!
Matt Dinniman really deserves all the credit that he gets for these books! They’re engaging, funny, creative, wonderful, and so many more words. This is a series I definitely will be re-reading over and over again!
You got to love Jeff Hayes and Annie Ellicott. World class voice actors. They bring the characters to life which is great when you have a well-written novel. Plus the speed at which he pumps these books out is top tier.
