Never “read” … (yes it’s still read even though I listened, … fight me) to a book like this. I was intrigued because it reminded me of the anime Sword Art Online. The second hand embarrassment was strong at times, but It was incredible. The performance adds … what do they call it … je..
What can I say besides it was exactly as good as I expected. My bar is high. It’s grown since I started this series. Matt & Jeff combine to make one hell of a story. Great job guys. Mongo approves.
You know how most series get worse as they go on? Well, Dungeon Crawler Carl must have a straight line to the gods of LitRPG because they seem to be immune from that curse. damn. Just finished a full re listen (like I do for each new release) and Holy shit I can’t wait for the next book. amazing.
This book is pretty damn great. I loved every minute of it. I love how Matt was able to take a larger scale story and still make it work. I’m also excited for the next book to feel a little bit more intimate.
read the title please and thank you smoochy face emoji inorder to meet the fifteen word review minimum.
My ability to picture the event from the description of the narratored event has cause me to not only tear up from how sad it is, but also throw up. This is the first time I have been overwhelmed by ANY books description of an event (although it is mostly related to my military PTSD)…
I’m totally lost and I love it. Definitely need to relisten to everything. I was tearing up at the end.
The only bad part of the series is having to wait for the next book. I have recommended this series to numerous friends that don’t read or like books and they fell in love with the series. It’s so f***ing good
