Could not stop listening to this wonderful book. Just what I needed. About life and friendships and family and, and, and. Just read.

I listened to this book over the course of a few days and laughed and cried out loud. It was quick-witted, heartwarming, and an unexpected blessing. After reading it, I wanted to go out and buy stationary and start writing letters again!!

I absolutely loved The Correspondent. Such an incredibly beautiful story — heartfelt, moving and beautifully written. The narration was outstanding and brought every emotion to life. One of those rare audiobooks that stays with you long after you’ve finished listening. Highly recommended!

I loved every single word – couldn’t put it down because it Felt so real. Sweet and gritty loved.

I loved the individual stories and how Sybil wanted to bring every character to their fullest potential. The fact that she felt so guilty all her life for the death of her son and finally shared it was beautiful.

Loved everything about this book . Story, narration. Spoke to my heart. Highly recommend to all. Brought tears to my eyes.

Should we all have the talent to write such beautiful, heart-felt letters. Such prose. I enjoyed this book immensely.

In this amazing epistolary novel, Sybil Van Antwerp is a treasure as the brilliant, aging correspondent. She is hard to like and easy to love. The voice talent is perfect and I couldn’t stop listening.

The way this compelling story was told and characters were developed kept me coming back to the book whenever I had an opportunity between classes. I also enjoyed the narrative flow between different characters (and narrators).

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this, but I literally fell in love not just the composition of the text and the direction of the author but the team that did the audio just crushed it thank you.
