I enjoyed the depth of self recognition and review, and her sharing my letter to those she loved.

Good storyline and pacing. Enjoyed the character and vocabulary. Loved the writing style and author’s voice. The performance helped aid in understanding the story.
This was beautifully produced and performed. Love when a book is beautiful to read as well as listen to. Buy the book AND listen to the audio.
Don’t read too many details about this book before you listen. It’s a pleasure to let the narrative unfold.
It’s been a while since I read a book that had my heart in my throat awaiting the next chapter. This book was certainly that. The narrator was excellent, the story was amazing, the twists were unexpected and the whole thing had me HOOKED. Highly recommend reading.
Read from my kindle the first time then six months later listened to it. LOVED the audio version and loved the book for the second time. Can’t recommend enough.
Wonderful book. The character of Sybil Van Antwerp came to life in this masterful rendition. The story unfolded so well in the letters that you really were able to experience Sybil’s journey and emotional growth. The end felt like saying goodbye to a friend. Bravo Ms Evans
I enjoyed the story and character development. The overall truth that we can often pen what we cannot speak is undeniable. Listening to the book, I was not a fan of how the majority was in letter format. I think this was very distracting in the Audible version. My mind would have skipped over all..
This is a very well written novel, all based on written correspondence. Of course, it does have slight inconsistencies in the plot, mainly the fact that a big some of the things written would have been at least spoken over the phone in real life, no matter the love of letter writing the characters possess…
