I liked this story it kept me reading and wanting more but I was so disappointed with the ending. The need to tie up all of the loose ends was yes twisty, but lacked meaning and luster. I thought it could have been more detailed. Also I wish the story wasn’t told through the daughter’s..
although based entirely up on correspondence, the use of a variety of voices in addition to the narrator enhance this story.
Virginia Evans developed her characters so beautifully! I loved how we wound deeper into meaningful life, considered the power of “I’m sorry,” and the profound nature of being known and loved.
