the main narrator

Review from The Correspondent →

I wasn’t sure at first if I would like it. such a strange way to tell a story and I go between Kindle and Audible. I liked reading the letters but had a harder time settling into the audio book. then everything changed. something grabbed me, the main narrator was astounding. I loved it

Heartwarming

Review from The Correspondent →

Love the point of view this novel is told – Sybil seems one dimensional at first, but she really suprises the reader in all the ways she grows, learns and softens.

A must read (listen!)

Incredible story about life, loss, living, living and storytelling. Beautifully illustrates the importance of letter writing and correspondence. A must read (listen, and this book needs to be heard. A superb reading by a cast.)

Loved it

Review from Love, Mom →

So, I don’t usually leave reviews. I started this book and stopped because I didn’t think I would like it. I finished another book and came back to it. So glad I did. It was not what I expected. Try it, you’ll be surprised!

Stick with it

Review from The Correspondent →

I started this, but stopped a short way into the story as it was a little slow. After I saw it recommended in 2 other places, I went back to the story. It’s brilliantly done. The narration is incredible. It’s such a beautiful rendering of all the facets of a human.
