I like this all here I’ll have to go down the Rabbit Hole and find other titles or books narration and performance was good too
I loved everything about this book. I liked the text. I like the narration that was with multiple different speakers. I like how it reflected a person‘s time of life, her reflections of her past life and the interactions that she has with other people, I liked how it gave a review of multiple books..
I loved the premise of this book taking us through Cybil’slife experiences through her correspondence with dozens of people with whom she interacted. These letters were often catalysts to new relationships and nurtured treasured friendships. The author trusted us, as readers, to endure her life-long regrets as well as her courageous battles to regain her..
What a treat. The characters were heartwarming and compelling. A beautiful life intertwined with so many others all told through the lost art of letter writing.
Good story, very believable, and some good clues dropped along the way. Good twists too. I would have enjoyed a couple of chapters from Ben’s mom… that’s about the only thing missing for me.
This book was an incredible journey, to witness life lived through letters shared with folks who we know deeply and who were met along the way. A good reminder the many ways to make an imprint and that life has many chapters to it.
We all need a Mr. Lübeck truly. Syb has a special place in my heart. The best goodbye tour ever despite her sounding cold and seeming cold, all I could feel was warmth and a need to feel needed. she was not gentle but she was ohhhh so kind. the sarcasm the witty comebacks. ohhhhh..
