I know someone who was afraid they “wouldn’t like a book of letters.” This is so much more than a book of letters. It’s spellbinding and thought provoking. It’s a beautiful story that flows easily, but never predictable. The characters are very well developed. Also, it’s performed perfectly. Excellent narration!

Book kept me intrigued and engaged. The last of the prologue was a bit cheesy. Otherwise, great book.

An amazing intimate way to reveal a story of a woman’s life in all its aspects. I didn’t care for her much at first but came to love and cry with her. A gifted author.The narration made it even more special.

Once I started I could not stop listening to this book. So moving and honest. Narration was excellent.

It took a little bit to get into the book or to understand where it was going…but then it did and I was captured. There are no explosions, nothing that hits you out of nowhere. And yet, there are surprises and gentle turns that keep you captivated and unable to stop listening. At the end..

I loved it so much, I need some time to reflect on all of it in its entirety – but most of all I loved Sybil’s growth and character development. Just goes to show that you’re never too old to learn new things about yourself and about life. Also, it’s never too late to apologize…
