The Correspondent kept me attention. I enjoyed the approach of the letter writing. I particularly liked this book on audio.

This book was absolutely wonderful. It gives you joy, sadness, and happiness. It makes you think about making a difference in life and enjoying the journey.
Seemed hard to get into at the beginning, but by the end I was devastated that it was over. i wanted to stay in this book, with these people and this family. A must read!

The family dynamic slowly and painfully unfolded through heartfelt readings. Writing eventually provided the relief sought over fifty years of loss.
It took me a bit to get used to the format of written correspondence being read but once I settled in, I loved it. Beautiful and heartbreaking.
