one of the best books I’ve ever listened to, best narrator for sure. Want to read more by this author and listen to more by this narrator
My book club had chosen this book to read, and I was somewhat put out. I was wrong! Upon starting I was taken with the depth of those who gave substance to each character. The audio presentation was spectacular. I stared this book and soon found myself unable to stop. So this story gives this..
I thoroughly enjoyed this one, start to finish. I was unaware of the format/structure of this book… so it was surprising at first. The main character was so intricate & relatable. I laughed, I shed a few tears… very well-written, very well-read. Time very-well-spent enjoying this work. Thank you. ❤️🙏
I loved this book. Well thought out strory. I enjoyed the developing friendship between Cordelia and Ruby. I recommend this author’s books. Fabulously narrated by Stefanie and Petrea👌🏻
Loved the audio impact of the various relationships and loved the main character with all her complexities.
A story beautifully and unusually woven together through letters and various characters. Wonderfully narrated and read by all.
A little apprehensive at first, but soon enjoying the exchange of letters, emails, and notes. Who knew a compilation of over 10 years could be so engaging?
I thought the narrators truly brought the characters to life. You could hear the emotion in the letters.
This was my first ever audio read and I could not have made a better selection to leave me wanting more. I found Sybil VanAntwerp to be a fascinating woman and I enjoyed her story to the very end. Her stubborn practicality left me laughing out loud at times and her reflection on life left..
Absolutely beautiful sentimental story. At first I wondered if I wouldn’t like it and I am glad I read on because this was a favorite book in my life. Sybil’s letter to her daughter summed up my relationship with my own daughter. This is the first book to make me cry. Thank you to all..
