The characters were well portrayed. Touching story about the way we leave footprints in the lives of others and that it is never too late to make change. Lovely story.

The work itself is amazing, but the narration infused this extraordinary story with an authenticity that I found surprising and poignant. I recommend this audiobook with no reservation.

What stood out for me the most was the author’s need for getting her LGBTQ, calling people racist and homophobic. Obviously she had to get a Trump barb in as well. Just wrote a book, don’t push your woke progressive agenda!.
