What a beautiful novel told from the voices of so many characters. It was fascinating piecing together everything all through separate letters. The character development was incredible. You leave feeling compelled to ponder your own life and not take a moment for granted.

Ah yes, my favorite type of book. A book that explores life—meaning, pain, joy, regret—all of it. A book that feels both cozy and makes my heart ache with a deep sadness. Told completely through letters, Evans manages to give a broad and deep picture of a full life. This book will stay with me.

Not a normal book I would listen to, but I went with it because of the reviews. It was slow to me to get going, and I thought I might not enjoy it, but once it did! If you choose to listen to this book, hang in there! It’s a treasure! Blessings

The couple is amazing, there’s a development of the characters and the story is really immersive!

The different voices were a great idea! I struggle to stay focused on audio books but this one caused me to find ways to put my headphones on and listen. I am sad to be finished with it.

Great book and narration. Deeply felt and feels like real life. You can really get to know the characters via the letters.

This was very predictable. I would have loved more information about Fiona and her life. It was a nice story but not one I would have read if it hadn’t been recommended.

The storyline was good, I enjoyed the character development and perspectives, this really drove the narrative forward.

You just have to listen to it. it’s a GREAT book…. Looking for more by this writer now!!
