This book was perfect to me. I am stunned that letters kept me enthralled. I have been thoroughly engaged through the characters and Sybil, our lead character.
I was surprised at how much I had in common with Sybil. The character helped me learn about myself and my own journey with grief after the loss of my children. It is rare that an audible book surprises me or causes me to have a strong emotional response but I found myself crying with..
Thank you Ms. Evans for this wonderful Novel! I listen to audibles as I am taking my children to their weekly activities. Often times they come in my car and just giggle and immediately change to music! Your book captivated my 12 year old too! I was about to turn to music and she goes..
Loved every word, every letter, every connection made in Sybil’s correspondence with her world. It was a beautiful story-one I will certainly return to again and again.
I listened to audio version which I would highly recommend. Each character had different narrator and this is a bookThat I feel is better listened to than read. The novel is collection of letters and emails over several year period. The main character is divorced older woman facing vision loss. Her writing is simply beautiful..
I enjoyed this book so much. An unfolding of human character. The linguistic styling is superb. Reminder me of Ishiguro “Remains of the Day.”

One of the all time greatest books of my life. Hesitant at first as the way it was structured was so different….. it turns out that is the very thing that makes it so unique in the most surprising way. Gold star.
marvellous and soul-warming. wholeheartedly recommend to anybody who likes books about lives unfolding and the intricacies of the human heart
What a great book. It was a great listen! Narration was really good. Loved the twists and turns. 10/10 recommend.
