This was a fun read. It’s mostly dialog driven, so not a lot of story, but still well done.
Fun
Review from Maybe This Time →
The voice actors were amazing and the story was so fun! There’s a few swear words and some innuendos, but other than that it’s a clean and wholesome love story. I agree with many others in saying I could re-listen to it right now.
It was a wonderful story of falling in love. the characters were perfect and I liked the voices of the main characters.
The story is somewhat interesting, if predictable. Ever so often there’s a virue signal that just wrenches you out of the story and into the current culture wars which is not at all what I want when I’m reading a work of fiction.
Another hit from Cara Bastone. I just adore all of her Audible Originals because they are so much fun. The time travel concept was exciting and unique. And there was real-life solar flare activity occurring while I read. Yet the story was also funny and full of emotion. The full cast made me feel like..
While short, Maybe This Time by Cara Bastone was hard for me to get into. Not because of the writing, as Cara is good, but because I despise both sports and poetry. The only thing that kept me in it was Noah Reid, as I adore him in Schitt’s Creek. I also like the idea..
I’m trying to fight out of a 3 day migraine or I would have finished this the day I started. It’s amazing and funny and beautiful as hell and likely the only thing holding up my mental health. If you have audible, it’s included.
Narration is excellent! Both of the narrator and a terrific job of bringing the story to life and creating a bit of fun introspection
