It really is hard to put into a few words how this book made me feel. Suffice it to say… it made me FEEL something. The transformative experiences in all of the characters was extraordinary to watch unfold. Everything seemed deeply personal to the characters, and the superb performances really brought the story to life…
I wanted more about mother/ daughter reconciliation and how the both worked everything out and how they spent time together

What a beautiful story told in a most unique and special way. As a former letter writer, this novel touched my heart. I laughed and cried and now I will miss these wonderful characters that came in and out of Sybil’s story.

I’m not sure how younger women or women in their 30s and 40s will review this book. but as an empty nester with still a long road ahead, I hope, this was absolutely excellent. It was like stumbling across someone’s diary and getting a cool spring afternoon to sit and just read the aging pages…
