The story jumped back and forth so many times I wondered if I had fallen asleep and another book started. I couldn’t keep track on past or present. The narration wasn’t great and I tried and tried. Who knows whatever happened to the baby!!! Ugh!!!

I appreciate that each character had their own voice. It kept it interesting. I don’t know if I would have been as clever with the character voices if I had read the book instead of listening to it.

I loved this book. I’ll admit it took me a minute to get into it, but I love how deep this character was. How imperfect, raw, honest. I loved how the author illustrated how people come in and out of our lives. And how this beautiful life…is woven together. Makes me want to write letters.
