I personally found the letter format manipulative and manufactured. I didn’t like the main character. the revelations were not as affective as they were affected. I was underwhelmed overall.

This book open my thinking to not judge, but be clear with your relationships. Be mindful, deep of everyone who will share your days with. Take time to appreciate everyone and all experiences to have. I will read this book again in the future. Jan/2026
I’m not sure if others who loved this book will agree, but listening to the audio made it really come alive. The actors brought much to the story, but reading the letters aloud brought depth and resonance for me. I don’t think I will ever forget the letter from Dan to Sybil as he was..
Loved the characters and the letters format. It felt like the characters were real and and could picture each one.
Wonderful character development and storytelling! Excellent performance by all readers! Loved, loved… didn’t want it to end!
Excellent audiobook that surprisingly told an entire story via letters. Very well done! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Loved it , great characters, loved the writing of the letters… moving, interesting, thought it might get boring or hard to follow letters but it wasn’t. I loved the voices
Great acting, feeling and heart. A curiously magnetic page-turner , seeing through the pages of life.
