Excellent development of story line and characters. This book drew me in after initially being a bit skeptical that I might find it slow and boring. I rarely reread books but I may this one.

I so enjoyed the story told through countless letters. It was a wonderful listen because the characters come to life through their voices. What a lovely listen. Virginia Evans has crafted a beautiful life story and I feel lucky to have heard it. The narration was perfect.

So many ranges of emotion and feeling. Loved the expose on the art of writing. Enriching and enchanting.

I loved how all the characters came alive through the voices. I loved how the story thread developed through the letters.

I loved the variety of readers given the format of the book us in Correspondence. I also felt the arc of the story line and the relationships were well developed and came alive in the story. Well done!
